A Bridegroom
Spring and Ps. 19:5
Spring is a bride,
Each flowering tree
A bridal bouquet in earth’s hands.
Lifted, expectant,
To meet, what?
The sky?
The sun? -
A bridegroom
From his chamber
Beaming on his bride.

That’s it, folks! Short and sweet today. Not much to add.
Until next time! Have a blessed weekend and week. :)
If you are new here, welcome! This space is for poems, a little sip of beauty in verse, to brighten your day. :)
“Freely you have received, freely give.” (Matthew 10:8) I feel led to keep this publication free to everyone: a gift from God, to me, to you. :) However, if you are visiting, consider subscribing! This keeps the good stuff coming directly your way.
Leaving a comment is literally the bread and butter that warms my heart. I read each one and it makes me feel a little bit more like my shared thoughts matter. :)
Pressing the heart lets me know you were here, a little “I see you” from your heart, to mine.
And lastly, re-stacking (the swirling arrows icon!) spreads the word and makes this post visible to more people! Just like sliding that magazine to the top of the stack. ;) Bonus points if you restack with a note!

Love that! And love the picture. Beautiful!
